Myalpokhari



Myal Pokhari is a Village Development Commettee  in Gulmi District in the Lumbini Zone of central Nepal. This is in the center of four VDCs namely:  Bajhketeri , Malagiri, Purkot Daha and Sirseni. This is bounded from North by Sirseni, South by Malagiri, East by Purkot Daha and West by Bajhketeri. Purkot's Kote is a famous Holy place for hindus for worshipping the Goddess Durga and two times in a year especially in Nepali Biggest festival Dashian and Ram Nawamee, large number of peoples go for worship. This is also famous for its own natural resources such as Naulapane Khaharekhola Community forest. On the bottom of this VDC, there is a brook name Panaha Khola. The main villages are Pura, Upretwari, Bahunpane, Jhakrisalla, Khasipata, Gairagau, Dharapanee, Arupata and Kavra. This VDC is divided into 9 small parts (wards). There is a prolific terrains for agriculture. The people are much more hard worker in the field of agriculture. Almost many  people in this area are engaged on agriculture. Their basic occupation is agriculture,however, some how few of the Myalpokhari peoples are depend on business and other works. In Myalpokhari, most of the youngerwood are still  working in governmental jobs such as Nepal Army and Nepal Police. Mehalay Pokhari Secondary School is the main  academic center which was established in 2016 B. S. and affilated from Nepal Government. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2282.
